Over the past 20 years’ entrepreneurship has been Faris Sabeti’s strong passion and it has become his life project to build a sustainable ecosystem that promotes innovation. Exposure to the world of high-tech entrepreneurship and innovation has enabled Faris to have a fantastic network of experts in this field. In 2001 he set up the “entrepreneur and science based start-up program”, www.ctistartup.ch of the Swiss Federal Commission of Technology. He served as vice chairman to CTI Invest, Swiss leading investment platform. In 1998 Faris joined to launch and develop de Chair of Entrepreneurship at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne. Founder / CEO to two companies (IT system solutions and Knowledge Platform). In 2007 Faris co-founded BlueOcean Venture together with Emmanuel de Watteville. Prior to his entrepreneurial and investor activities, Faris had management positions with a number of multi-national corporations such as Marc Rich/Clarendon, the world largest commodity trading and Philip Morris Headquarters EMEA.
Faris holds a higher diploma in computer sciences from the West London College of Science and an MBA from EU Business School, Geneva.
